COMBANTRIN®
COMBANTRIN® is effective against Threadworms as well as the rare worms roundworms and hookworms, in a single dose. It contains Pyrantel Embonate, which works as a "neuro-muscular blocking agent" - effectively paralysing worms. Unable to move, worms are passed out in the faeces.
COMBANTRIN®-1
COMBANTRIN®-1 kills Threadworm in a single dose - one tablet or square, once only.
Contains mebendazole. Mebendazole prevents the worm from absorbing glucose causing it to lose energy and die.
All human worming products will treat only adult worms present in the intestine at the time of taking the medication. They will not treat the eggs or immature worms and will not protect you or your children from contracting Threadworms if you are exposed to it again.
